Sleep Schedules
Sleep Dojo and Routine
I found that if the house was disheveled I didn’t sleep very well. Including clutter. Which was a reflection of what was going on internally. Things I was holding on to for no reason.
Disclaimer: This is my routine I’ve modified it over the past year and it continues to morph for what works for me.
Clean sheets
Remove the TV…..stop watching TV 2 years ago. Best decision I’ve ever made. So much more time for activities😉
I leave my cell phone on the kitchen counter.
Set a routine in the evening -don’t eat after 630pm -hygiene -breath-work -read a book for a hour -Say my evening affirmations outloud -tape my mouth
Sleeping clean in a clean space
My bedroom is clean and free of clutter, plants are on the dresser and guns are by the bed.
Phone is kept in the kitchen. Turn it on do not disturb at 730pm.
Shower before bed every night.
Tape mouth shut.
Start a 30 min Breathwork/meditation prior to sleep.
Sleep 8 hours most nights uninterrupted. If awakened, sit in meditation until my mind calms or lay on a acupuncture mat and return to sleep.
Great routine!

I feel like our living space is a reflection of our mind. If the living space is disheveled and our mind wants to be organized, it can feel like a weight is lifted off our shoulders when we clean the physical space.
