Trouble shooting

I have had sleep apnea for 8+ years. I have eliminated alcohol, eat clean, lost 40lbs. Still snoring. When I brought this to my womb shaman, she suggested I was being stubborn with my masculine side. I have sat with this for a few weeks now. My husband has left the bedroom in the middle of the night due to my chainsaw like action going on in my airway. I don’t blame him. This has come with Shame and guilt. What am I holding on to and can I let it go already.

Medicine is calling me again and I’m open to what others have experienced with this or if there was something they have done and tried.

I threw out my cpap, I don’t go to the doctor anymore, I am in the process of some throat exercises and will restart the breathe book.

Thank you for listening.

You should hear something soon!

Plant medicine has had a tremendous impact on my life trajectory. My first journey was over two years ago, and my exploration of those medicines is ongoing. After that first journey, I attended a 62R course, which was a synergistic learning experience. Hearing Rob speak on how various substances, such as marijuana, alcohol, and caffeine, affect sleep cycles propelled me to make big changes. The combination of plant medicines, counseling, and this program has helped me to become alcohol-free for well over a year and I've made many other positive changes in my life. And I sleep great naturally!

Congratulations Patrick! I've been sober for 2 years now, and began Ketamine therapy about a year ago. I agree that it's the combination of improved sleep, counseling, removing alcohol and treating with Ketamine that has allowed me to heal more than ever before.

The Wisdom of Plant Medicine: A Journey Within

For centuries, indigenous cultures have turned to plant medicine not just for healing the body but for awakening the soul. These ancient allies, rooted in the earth and kissed by the sun, offer us more than chemical compounds—they hold the wisdom of nature itself.

Plant medicine asks us to slow down, to reconnect, to listen. It is not a shortcut to enlightenment, nor a panacea for all wounds. It is a mirror, reflecting back the parts of ourselves we avoid, the truths we suppress, and the beauty we overlook.

When we engage with plant medicine, we’re invited to ask:

• What am I ready to let go of?

• What lessons does my pain carry?

• How can I live in deeper harmony with myself and the world?

What a beautiful post.

Alan Watts said, "If you get the message, hang up the phone. For psychedelic drugs are simply instruments, like microscopes, telescopes, and telephones. The biologist does not sit with eye permanently glued to the microscope, he goes away and works on what he has seen."

How do you know when it is time to pick up the phone again? What calls you back to sit with a certain medicine?

Every 3-6 months I seem to have a calling back for another look through the telescope. The grind of life takes a toll and while meditation and healthy lifestyle help prolong the positive effects each gaze into divinity provide, every so often I benefit from revisiting through indigenous medicine.

The type of medicine has been falling into place whenever it is time. Maybe eventually I will no longer feel a calling, but I continue to be spiritually curious for a deeper look into the unknown.
