Reilly Jarvis recently posted this on LinkedIn talking about how memory and brain health is related to sleep and cleansing the brain of beta amyloid. It’s true. This is especially difficult with traumatic brain injury, but absolutely essential for brain health. If you’re not getting deep sleep, you have no hope of recovery from TBI. However, if you’re able to achieve deep sleep, that’s when the brain does most of its cleaning and recovery.
