3 am wake-up
Hi. I'm new to the group and looking to see if anybody has experienced the 3 am wake-up, and if so, have they managed to fix it?
I've been waking up at 3 am for about 2 years now, and have tried many things to resolve it (supplements, morning exercise, breathing exercises, diet changes) but nothing has worked. I'm hoping to find someone who has experienced something similar and hopefully hear what they did to resolve it. Thanks.

Very common, especially with veterans and first responders. Definitely don’t eat anything before bed and try to focus on nervous system relaxation techniques. Most likely what is happening is an elevated level of noradrenaline or reduced sleep pressure.
