Binaural Beats and Improved Sleep Quality
A Small scale pilot study was done on 20 healthy students to analyze the effects of auditory stimulation using delta binaural beats on sleep quality and post sleep mood.
The study lasted 2 weeks, first week was to gather baseline data, and second week was the trial and all students were exposed to 90min of binaural beats in the delta frequency range.
Although data was only measured subjectively through the use of questionnaires, the pilot study concluded that the use of binaural beats improved the students sleep quality and reduced the amount of times they woke up in the middle of the night, as well as the students noting it had positive effects on their mood throughout the day, specifically stating they suffered from less anxiety and overall anger.
Have you ever used Binaural Beats? And what was your experience in doing so?
