Healing Mind, Body, Heart, Soul, & Spirit

I remember back in February 2023 coming across Rob the sleep genius post on TikTok. I remember this feeling of excitement like I have known this man before as I began to post and ask him questions about did he believe that people could lucid dream together? I remember having experiences from an early age of me being able to walk into peoples streams and rearrange them as to help them not have nightmares anymore. He quickly responded with yes generational trauma is passed down and how those chains need to be broken. He was also very quick to tell me how I already knew the answers to these questions that I was asking, and I did, but I was looking for validation. See I had always had these visions of how mind body heart, soul and spirit needed to be worked on together and aligned to heal people. Iโ€ฆ

The Third Man

Again, I was troubled by disturbing parasomnia. Last night, I dreamt of being involved in two individuals' hand-to-hand combat. The first was finished off, and I was atop the second dispatching him when, from behind, a third man approached and grabbed me. I felt someone grab me; I awoke upright in bed in bed swinging my arms violently. Luckily, I did not wake my wife and lay back down. I have attacked my wife in my dreams before. I attended Bible study on Monday night. There were no triggers before going to bed. There are no changes to the array of meds for my sleep disorders, PTSD, sleep anxiety, depression, and survivor guilt. No caffeine. My sleep dojo was set. My prayers are intentional before falling asleep. Prior incidents, and this one only increased my sleep anxiety.

Thank you for sharing. I have learned over the years that it is important as I fall asleep to literally tell your mind to tell your body that you are absolutely safe & unconditionally loved. The first thing your brain does is try to protect your body & vice versa so when we have had traumatic experiences those experiences stay lodged not only in your memory somewhere but also your nervous system. So for me as well as praying or meditating I will say to my brain & my body that I am safe & that I am loved & I am protected. This has helped me a lot as well as many others I know. I hope this helps.

Liquid Blackness

I have been reluctant to share this experience, but I now feel that it may be helpful to others. Then why the reluctance? This night terror was so vivid and horrific that I did not want to dwell on it and visualize it again. But here it is for those who may have experienced something similar, or I am asking for an evaluation.

This night terror occurred several weeks ago. Thankfully, my recall of the setting of the dream is somewhat fuzzy. I do suffer from night terrors and parasomnia. I also suffer from chronic PTSD, anxiety, and depression. The VA prescribes several different medications, and I also intake CDB/THC before bed. The combination of the drugs and the CDB/THC has dramatically reduced my nightmares and parasomnia.

I am 65 years old, a retired, disabled veteran. I do not work, but I am involved in non-profit endeavors. โ€ฆ
